WGS200 Wall Guard

Gradus wall guards (also known as bumper bars or crash rails) are modular in construction and are suitable for use in busy working environments such as hospital circulation areas, wards and corridors to protect against damage from pedestrian and wheeled traffic.

The WGS200 wall guard comprises an aluminium retainer, internal PVC-U bumper, PVC-U cover and PVC-U end caps. It has been designed to provide a tight fit to the wall to minimise the collection of dirt and dust.

The covers and accessories are replaceable if damaged by heavy impact and are through-coloured and textured to conceal the effects of impact and abrasion. The internal bumper provides additional strength and absorbs and dissipates impact. The end caps include black reveals that provide a tight, neat joint and contain an anti-microbial agent to inhibit the growth of bacteria.

The WGS200 has a choice of retainers – continuous or 50mm fixing clips. The continuous option (WGS200C) provides rigid support for weaker substrates and is ideal for bridging short gaps, recesses and voids. The fixing clip option (WGS200F) offers a cost-effective, easy to install (ideal for one person) solution that is suitable for gently undulating substrates.
